So there are twenty ex-athletes eating at the Stepping Stone tomorrow morning. We don't know who any of them are going to be, but I know that all their food is free...and we've never done that before...so maybe they're really famous. I'm gonna bring my camera, so maybe tomorrow there will be a photo up of me and Hakeem. I think i'll go for a candid shot...just me and the dream eating breeak together. Did you know he got a quadruple double once? that's bonkers.

some might be sick, but all my friends are ill. thanks for all the positivity, duders. i hope everyone had a blast in seattle, i wish i could've made it down. adam's got a few pics up if you missed it like me (my shit, on the left). it might have taken me 3x as long as expected and kept me from the show, but i should be able to apply for my work permit this afternoon.

So my girlfriend and I have been on the hunt for a place to sub-let for the summer in Brooklyn, NY as our lease is up in the East Village this June 1st. Sub-let cause I'm joining you heads out on the West Coast in September when I make the long overdue move back to Vancouver.

Anyway, the search for suitable apartments had me bumming as I was thinking that I'd have to make compromises and concessions due to the lease being up and us having to get the fuck out of Manhattan due to insane rent. BUT... we found a SICK spot in Brooklyn, and the dude we are sub-letting from happens to be the bassist for one of my fav punk canon bands - Stiff Little Fingers (don't know em? Go watch High Fidelity and also Black Label's skate vid from back in the day (I think it's called Label Live or something like that)).

Totally awesome dude, and the place is KILLER!!! Rooftop BBQs will be had, so if you're in or around the East Coast this summer gimme a shout. Oopey knows how ridiculous the apartment I'm in now is, and how no one can stay with me, but this is not the case in BK. All y'all are welcome and encouraged to come visit and stay on the couch. Also, just around the corner from newly opened Lit Fuse Cyclery, really cool dudes doing second hand and new sales as well as full service, I believe they have some sort of relationship with Vivalo interestingly enough.
