still up! the graf is over the posters and my paste was shit, so parts are peeled off and you can see the layers underneath. looks pretty cool. gonna have to put something else up now.

Just finished watching a documentary about Bukowski. It was great. 'Bukowski: Born into This' Check it out if you like his stuff. In highschool I found 'Last Night of the Earth Poems' in my brothers book collection. It changed the way I saw poetry. I'll admit the realist, grimy, formless poetry has gotten overdone and under powered since, but Bukowski rocked the house and man was he one ugly sumbitch.

a lot of little things have been keeping me busy recently, but i can tell things are about to get good. my business class will be over by april and i think i should be ready to start my printing company by then. i'm also really stoked to get out some shirt designs of my own. last winter i banged out a couple ideas in what i'm calling 'the grey period'. i've since put a bunch of them together into waiting-to-be-printed designs. i should have a little bit of money and a lot of know how by this summer, so expect some things to start getting real.

i've currently been working on some shit for HHK and High Scores. hhk van has really been popping off and the homies are getting attention. it's not the best job, but i like supporting the effort. i'm also in the finishing stages of creating the offical high scores vinyl labels. i'm hyped for the first 12" in april. keep grindin'.

the olympics are in town and it is making me insane. the city is in overdrive on all fronts. of course there are crowds around the sporting centers and lots of extra cops all over, but the local normal people are also all amped up. the olympic committee has been publicizing for so long and erecting buildings that everyday people feel like this should be exciting. i feel like it's whatever. yes the olympics are only benefitting the rich and dramatically hurting everyone else ('housing severely unaffordable' - local headline), but that's happening everywhere. i just wish the people around here wouldn't gobble it up so happily. it's stressing me out.
