So I'm checking out GZA tomorrow at richards. He's pimping a 'liquid swords' front to back tour in order to cling onto the "classic album" (read:only good album) he's really ever put down. GZA is obviously hype with Wu, but can he could never really hold tracks on his own post 1995. Dope and you know it. I'll try to post some highlights, although it may take me a couple days to recover.

Moreover, (haven't used this word since graduating) while I'm on the hip hop tip. THIS insane track was just dropped. Silly ass line-up: Ye, Hova, T.I. and Weezy. Silly. The song is annoying despite a potentially dope sample. I just like how the overhyped rappers make overhyped tracks.

All in all meh.

i'm feeling somewhat settled into portland by this point. having a pretty good time anyway. i've got a month till i start toward speaking japanese and i'm still unemployed. if anyone's got some hooks, holla. as long as i'm jobless, anyone got a bike map for pdx to van? holla!

Had teh best dinner of my life the other night. Steak Tartar and about 200 buck on three bottles of wine. French Cuisine ftw. I gotta get out, but sometimes it is quite pretty. Leaves are starting to turn and in no time at all the tour busses full of old people will choke the roads and bring hte trees one step closer to death.

Somehow my spazzy softball team got to the championship game. It's all very bad news bears. Big game tomorrow.
