These days I'm just waitin to move... I hit NYC Saturday the 30th for good and then I can be settled for awhile. Too much movin around this summer, me legs're tired. Turns out these days home is where my shit is... I'm ready to have a place again not in mum's house. It's sad how American beer now neither does anything to my level of sobriety nor for my taste buds... it all tastes light as fuck but I'll fall into line soon enough. Almost done building the KHS... it's looking pretty cute for a budget non-attention grabber; Sugino Messenger driving the take offs from my Pista. Anyway, its tighter geo than the pista so should be an interesting ride. Ummm... other than that Rockville, MD is boring as ever but it's nice and quiet and I do believe I'm regaining some of my sanity after Europe (or, conversely losing more of it due to boredom). Hope all's well... start planning your trip to New York now...

No, not really... but I'm glad to be back in good 'ol America. And sleeping in a bed. Aside from several foiled mugging/robbery attempts, multiple run ins with gypsies, German cops, German punks, and the like, all went smoothly as could be, all things considered. Picked up a bit of a gut due to beer being cheaper than water often times and almost exclusively served in the half-liter, and now American beer does nothing to me sadly. Either way I'm super broke as expected, but the truck was sold while I was away thankfully, so I have some cheese to bum around on while I look for a job (yikes!) in New York (shit!). Headin up next weekend on the 30th or 31st, so if you're around the Lower East Side holler at me. Here's a brief sample of some shit I saw... hope all's well with y'all.

completing the 24hr velo vulture alleycat this weekend wasnt as bad as i thought. didn't need to sleep, logged 124miles, and placed 2nd. yeah, new in town and out the gate pwn'ing. drewz and i made a killer team but we were definitely aided by our companion team wanguss (dave and ian), who took third. portland is a hell of a city and now i know some of the more remote corners and late night hotspots. bike scavenger hunt ftw.

apologies to emiliano and becky for being a lame host. next time i'll make up for it, promise.

I finally figured out a very pressing problem concerning the display of two works going into this art hop thingy. Sometimes you just gotta, keep an open mind till the most obviously appropriate thing gets you all stoned and sits on your face. this picture has noting to do with the show, but it's certainly a good self portrait.
