Life in Vt is a relaxing one. My buddy and I spend a lot of time shooting ideas back and forth while he plugs away at his massive glass installation for UVM. I'm documenting the process with my light capturing box. It's in the works to have a massive narrative photo show at the opening of this behemoth featuring shots I've taken along the way. I'll be headed out to P-town after the whole shebang is finished. Probably around the end of sept. Here's some shots of the welding of the superstructure from which the 2000lbs of glass will be hanging. In the next week or two I'm gonna head down to Corning, NY to document the glass blowing process. If you don't know about corning, educate yo damnself. It's where they invented the LCD, Fiber Optics, and some other select technologies. Ought be something to see.

i have a house in portland as of yesterday. couch surfers already welcome.

props to my future roomie, drewz, for riding the suteki mtb from vancouver to portland. i pulled that bike out of the junk pile and it didn't work so well but drew can make anything work. proved to me a need to start doing the ride, and often. end goal: 2 days, fixed.
