Get Your Incheon Pinch On
So I thought it would be neat to use this public computer to post, seeing as it's in the main gallery space at the Incheon Women Artists' Bienalle. It says women, but there are many men showing as well as a few coed teams. Sort of causing a stir with some of the more feminazi types here apparently, but it's also supposedly a bit poorly organized, so there ya go. My brothers gf Katrina is showing, but I still ahve yet to see her piece since it's somewehre else entirely from teh bulk of the show. I have yet to find the free beer, but I'm looking, cause Korea is expensive as all get out compared to India and I'm in an economic depression, both literally and mentally. I saw a guy on a fixie today, and I realized I was back in teh first world. Also we ate the ocean at lunch. If you ever have the opportunity to eat abalone, don't. It's like eating somone's nose, except colder slimier and complete unchewable. Conch on the other hand, Vewy Tasty.

ROAST BEEFY
![]() there's been lots of cool happening in this past week. the best part, for me, is that i found a job. i now drive a pedicab around downtown on select nights of the week. it's a job i applied for on a whim, but it seems to be working out okay. i'm working late nights, pulling up to 500lbs through our hilly dtown core, and dealing solely with drunks, but at least the pay is good. my last fare on friday ended up being a couple guys from the broken social scene, which was kinda cool. one of they guys shuffled through my ipod, playing his "old inde rock" favorites. we all sang 'working on leavin the livin' as i pulled up to their hotel. i don't expect to keep this job all too long but i'm enjoying right now. it's getting me strong for cross season, if nothing else. so much more to say, but i gotta get to work. ring-ring-ring Posted on 28 Jul 2009 by luke
My god...
This is pretty god damn ridiculous. I wish I could ride a bike like this, looks like SO MUCH FUN when a dude this good is pulling insane shit off. Normally Trials really bores me but DAMN!!!

New Bike Day redux
New Bike Day for me, again. Journeyed out to Hicksville (no joke), Long Island to pick this puppy up last night in the pouring rain. My first classic ride, I've been lusting after a Merckx with the "back to the future" font and this one's got FAEMA colors to boot. Seller was a collector and was in the middle of restoring it period-correct, but decided his 20 other bikes were enough. Scooped up for $790, sold off goofy parts for $150, so I ended up doing rather well. Maiden ride was today and the Columbus SL tubeset is great, this is an ideal sunday cruiser for me. Unfortunately I'm afraid of rust, so it'll likely stay in MD when I come out West, but if I get permanent digs and a gig it and all my other shit's comin out too. Lovin the old shimano 600 group, the whole group was NOS so I get to break it in! Posted on 24 Jul 2009 by chris
